There are many reasons why Manchester is the perfect location for an English summer course. You can’t really find better a more perfect setting to properly take in all of the beautiful sights that England has to offer. But, you also benefit from a friendly cultural experience that will immerse you in British life. Manchester is home to many important cultural landmarks and it has a rich history which you will be able to learn about. It is also a football city that is home to two of the most prestigious clubs in world football.
Our summer programme is a great opportunity for you to learn English, experience a new culture and have fun! As well as English lessons, you will have the opportunity to practice your football skills, visit incredible stadiums, explore cultural landmarks and make new friends from around the world. We don’t just teach you English, we allow you to properly take in all that England has to offer. You can make lifelong memories and also pick up valuable English skills. The best way to learn English is by speaking it in a natural way. Our small classes and our fantastic range of activities will allow you to explore English fully. The programme is not limited to academics, and the cultural aspects make up a significant part of our ethos. The skills you pick up on our programme can be applied to wherever you go in the world.
We offer two distinct and separate pathways for our summer programme. This is the Cultural pathway and the Football/Futsal pathway.
A typical day at our summer course begins with an English lesson, then your afternoons and evenings will be filled with fun activities and events to immerse yourself in the local culture. With two amazing teams on our doorstep, football forms a significant part of the culture in Manchester so if you are a football fan our summer programme will be right up your street! This is a city that has always been passionate about football. You will be able to get yourself involved in practice matches and then test out your skills in a proper match at the end of the week. This programme is an essential for all football/futsal fans.
A typical day in the cultural programme will be similar to the football programme. However, the key differences will be the exclusive cultural activities and excursions. You will also have the chance to get involved with a video workshop that will allow you to record your experience. Every student will receive a video that will allow them to look back on their time. You will have something to show all of your friends! For anyone that wants a chance to fully engage with British culture, this is the perfect programme for you.
